subscribefornothing.com is a satirical product. We minimise data collection. We use Microsoft Clarity for anonymous behaviour analytics (with your consent) and Google Search Console for search performance monitoring (no visitor data). Beyond this, we collect only what is technically and legally required.
No advertising cookies, no social plugins, no newsletter (except the monthly "NOTHING"). Clarity requires explicit consent — a banner is shown on first visit.
Our hosting provider automatically stores server log data (anonymised IP address, date/time, URL, HTTP status code). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: 7 days.
We store your currency preference (EUR/USD) in your browser's localStorage for correct price display. This is not a cookie, contains no personal data, and is never transmitted to our servers.

These Terms of Service govern all contracts between Jorge Bravo Castrejon ("Provider") and customers ("User") for the use of subscribefornothing.com.
subscribefornothing.com is a satirical subscription service. The Provider delivers one email per billing period containing the sole word: "NOTHING".
The Provider explicitly and unambiguously states that this service is intentionally and entirely worthless. No software features, no dashboard, no customer support, and no other services are provided beyond the described email delivery.
On "Nothing + Good" plans, a portion of the subscription fee is pooled and donated to WWF and Plant-for-the-Planet twice a year, in January and July. This donation is made by the Provider, not the User.
By completing a purchase, the User confirms they have read, understood, and accepted this service description.
The contract is concluded when the User completes the checkout process and payment is successfully authorised via Stripe. The Provider sends a confirmation email.
VAT: Pursuant to § 19 UStG (German Small Business Act), no VAT is charged (Kleinunternehmerregelung).
Payment is made in advance via Stripe. Price changes will be announced with 30 days' notice.
On "Nothing + Good" plans, €3.00/month (or €30.00/year) is tracked internally as a charity fund and donated in full twice a year, in January and July to WWF and Plant-for-the-Planet. Public proof of donation is published on the website. In case of service discontinuation, all remaining pooled funds will be donated in full.
Subscriptions run indefinitely and renew automatically. Users may cancel at any time before the end of the current billing period via the Stripe customer portal or by emailing hola@subscribefornothing.com. No partial refunds are issued for ordinary cancellations outside the statutory right of withdrawal.

The Provider is not liable for damages arising from the User expecting something from this service. The service explicitly delivers nothing. The Provider is liable according to statutory provisions in all other respects.
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, insofar as the User is a merchant or legal entity under public law.
Should any provision of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The purpose of these Terms is: deliver nothing and be paid for it.

subscribefornothing.com ist ein satirischer Abonnementdienst. Der Anbieter liefert eine E-Mail mit dem Inhalt "NOTHING". Der Dienst ist bewusst und vollständig wertlos. Bei "Nothing + Good"-Plänen fließen €3,00/Monat (bzw. €30,00/Jahr) in einen Spendenpool für WWF und Plant-for-the-Planet.
Gemäß § 19 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer berechnet (Kleinunternehmerregelung).
Jederzeit zum Ende des Abrechnungszeitraums über das Stripe-Kundenportal oder per E-Mail. Bei ordentlichen Kündigungen außerhalb des gesetzlichen Widerrufsrechts erfolgen keine anteiligen Erstattungen.
Widerrufsrecht, Haftungsbeschränkung, anwendbares Recht (deutsches Recht, Gerichtsstand Berlin) und Salvatorische Klausel gemäß den gesetzlichen Vorschriften. Vollständige englische Version siehe oben.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by an unambiguous statement (e.g. email):

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
Refunds under the statutory right of withdrawal are made in full. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are not deducted from the refund amount — these are borne by the Provider as an operational cost.
For contracts for digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal lapses if the Provider has begun performing the contract after the consumer has expressly agreed that the Provider begins performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
This consent is obtained at checkout via an explicit acknowledgement before payment is completed — the User must tick a checkbox confirming they agree before the purchase can be finalised.

Bei Widerruf erstatten wir alle Zahlungen unverzüglich, spätestens binnen 14 Tagen, mit demselben Zahlungsmittel. Erstattungen im Rahmen des gesetzlichen Widerrufsrechts erfolgen vollständig. Von Stripe erhobene Zahlungsgebühren werden nicht vom Erstattungsbetrag abgezogen.
Gemäß § 356 Abs. 5 BGB erlischt das Widerrufsrecht bei digitalen Inhalten, wenn der Nutzer ausdrücklich zugestimmt hat, dass die Leistung vor Ablauf der Widerrufsfrist beginnt, und seine Kenntnis vom Verlust des Widerrufsrechts bestätigt hat. Diese Zustimmung wird im Checkout vor Abschluss des Kaufs aktiv eingeholt — der Nutzer muss eine Checkbox bestätigen, bevor der Kauf abgeschlossen werden kann.
